How horrible is this virus?
Like other respiratory illnesses, the virus can cause mild symptoms, including colds, coughs, sore throats, and fever. The infection can be fatal for some people. It can also cause events such as pneumonia, respiratory and organ dysfunction. However, in rare cases the disease is fatal. Older and already ill persons are at greater risk of becoming critically ill as a result of the virus infection.
That’s why it’s important
These symptoms are flu (influenza) or the common cold, which is much more common than COVID-19. This is why it is important to check whether a person has been infected with COVID-19. It is important to remember that the basic preventive measures are the same. These include washing hands frequently and adhering to respiratory hygiene.
For example, when elbowing or using tissue when coughing or sneezing, then drop the tissue into a nearby closed dirt box. Also, there is a vaccine for fever. Therefore, remember to give yourself and your child the vaccine on time.
How can I avoid the risk of infection?
You and your family can take the following four types of precautions to avoid infection:
- Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or use alcoholic hand-wash products.
- When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with elbows or tissues. Immediately drop the used tissue to the specified location.
- Avoid contact with someone who is cold or has symptoms of fever.
- If you or your child has a fever, cough or shortness of breath, seek immediate medical attention.
Should I wear a medical mask?
Medical masks help to keep the spread of other diseases, including coronavirus, to a limited extent. However, using it alone is not enough to reduce the infection. So, Regular hand washing and non-contact with a potentially infected person are the best ways to reduce the risk of infection.
Are children at risk?
People of any age can be infected with the virus. One thing to note, however, is that no casualties have been reported so far in children infected with the coronavirus. The virus can be fatal, especially in older people.
However, the virus has an indirect effect on the poorest children in the city. These effects include the closure of schools, which have recently been seen in Mongolia.
“This coronavirus is spreading at an alarming rate. It is important to take all measures necessary to prevent this. We do not yet know much about the effects of this virus on children or how many can be infected. But close observation and prevention seem to be the most important. Time is not with us. “
